Applications are welcomed from the prospective candidates for admission in Undergraduate programs in Pakistan’s first ever Technology University, The Punjab Tianjin University of Technology Lahore (PTUT). Candidates who wish to take admission in this institute, must have at least 50% marks in DAE / FSc (Pre Engineering) / A Levels (Physics, Chemistry, Math’s) / FA or A Levels (For BSc Fashion Design Technology Only). Admission Application tokens can be obtained from University of Engineering and Technology, G. T. Road, Lahore (UET) Admission Office on payment of Rs 500/-. Application submission receipt and Admit Card will be issued immediately on submission of application.

PTUT is approved by the Higher Education Commission and affiliated with three Chinese universities. This institute is standing in the list of all public sector universities in Pakistan. PTUT is a government institute which was formerly named as government institute of Emerging Technology Lahore.
PTUT Merit aggregate calculation
As per the admission criteria, Aggregate marks would be calculated as under:[{Percentage marks in Intermediate / DAE } x 0.7] + [ {Percentage marks in Admission Test } x 0.3]. Furthermore, Candidates who earn less than 50% aggregate marks will not be considered for inclusion in the merit lists.
