Aga Khan Higher Secondary School Karachi Admission 2024

Admissions are now open for the last year of Grade VIII for the upcoming school year. Aga Khan Higher Secondary School have a history of doing really well in national exams. To apply, you must be in 7th or 8th grade during the 2023 school year and be between 12 and 14 years old by March 31, 2004. The entrance test will be done on a computer and will have multiple-choice questions. If you get an answer wrong, you’ll lose 0.25 marks.

Eligibility Criteria Grade VIII

To get into Grade VIII, you need to:

  • Pass Grade VII exams or be currently studying in Grade VII or VIII during the year you apply.
  • Not be enrolled in any exams equal to or higher than Secondary School Certificate Part One (SSC-I) when you apply.
  • Be between 12 to 14 years old by March 31st of the first academic year for Grade VIII.

Every applicant must take the Computer Based Test (CBT), which evaluates their understanding of core subjects like English, Mathematics, Science, and Urdu. The test assigns weights to each subject as follows:

Required Documents

To apply, all students must give a paper from their current school that shows their name, their father’s name, when they were born, and what class they are in. They also need to provide a Form B or a birth paper that has been confirmed as real. After they get accepted, they have to give a paper that shows they left their old school, signed by the deputy director.

Eligibility Criteria Grade XI

If students pass the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam from AKU-EB or another accepted Board / University with at least 55% marks in Science, they can apply for admission. Aga Khan School students who get an A grade or better in SSC exams can go to grade XI without a test or interview and don’t have to pay the admission fees. However, all students need to take an entrance test and an interview, which have various goals.

  • Evaluate potential for future education
  • Assess linguistic skills in English and Urdu
  • Evaluate ability to organize and communicate information about themselves and surroundings

The written test to interview ratio is 80:20. The duration of the written test is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The entrance test is structured separately for two groups: Pre-Engineering and Pre-Medical.

  3. Register for admission through the AKHSS official page or obtain admission forms from the main campus if interested in joining Aga Khan HSC Karachi.
  4. Complete an Admissions form provided by the parents to initiate the application and enrollment process.
  5. Submit the specified set of documents listed on the Admission form.
  6. Pay the required fees along with the completed forms.
  7. Once the forms are processed, your child can begin nursery on the first day of the registered class.
