History
The University of Punjab, founded in a Muslim-majority area, has been instrumental in shaping the educational landscape of Pakistan. Comprising five campuses, 19 faculties, 08 constituent colleges, and numerous departments, centers, and institutes, it accommodates a vast array of academic disciplines. The Allama Iqbal Campus, adorned with Indo-Islamic architecture, includes historically significant colleges like Oriental College. Quaid-e-Azam Campus, designed by renowned architect A.C. Doxiadis, serves as the academic and administrative hub, boasting lush green landscapes and a scenic canal.
