- Higher/Secondary Certificate or equivalents (e.g. O/A’Level, WAEC/NECO),
- Evidence of English Language competence: TOEFL (65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5). Students without these documents will take the CIU English proficiency exam on campus following arrival,
- Scanned copy of international passport/birth certificate,
- Fully completed and signed CIU Rules and Regulations document (downloadable during the online application).
Master’s Programs Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Diploma,
- Bachelor’s Degree transcripts for each completed academic term/year,
- Evidence of English Language competence: TOEFL (65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5). Students without these documents will take the CIU English proficiency exam on campus following arrival,
- Scanned copy of international passport/birth certificate,
- CV,
- Fully completed and signed CIU Rules and Regulations document (downloadable during the online application).
Phd Programs Requirements
- A valid Bachelor’s Degree and transcripts for each completed academic term/year,
- A valid Master’s Degree and transcripts for each completed academic term/year,
- Evidence of English Language competence: TOEFL (65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5). Students without these documents will take the CIU’s English proficiency exam on campus following arrival,
- Scanned copy of international passport/birth certificate,

- PhD research proposal,

ADMISSION PROCESS:
- Application Evaluation:
- Prospective students apply to Cyprus International University (CIU) online, providing the required documents.
- Application is evaluated by the CIU International Office.
- Acceptance Letter Issuance:
- Eligible candidates receive an Acceptance Letter (AL) via e-mail.
- Initial Minimum Payment:
- Transfer the initial deposit payment to the CIU bank account as specified in the AL.
- Acceptance Letter (AL) Confirmation:
- Upon deposit payment, prospective students receive confirmation of their Acceptance Letter (AL) via e-mail.
- Transit Visa Application (if necessary):
- Use the AL to apply for a transit visa at the nearest Turkish Embassy (if required).
- Flight Details Submission:
- Prospective students book flights to Ercan Airport, North Cyprus.
- Share flight details with the CIU International Office for transportation arrangements to the CIU Campus.
Understanding The Application Process
- Apply online through the application portal.
- Ensure accurate details and upload the required documents listed on the last page of the application form.
- If working with an educational agency or regional representative, obtain and fill in their ‘Agent Code’ on the application form.
- If applying independently, no ‘Agent Code’ selection is needed.
