Introducing the HEC Flood Scholarship 2024 USAID MNBSP: After the 2022 floods, USAID offers Undergraduate Scholarship Funding for Two Semesters. 50% reserved for females. Open to students in HEC-recognized USAID partner universities. Apply by August 16, 2024. Recent floods in Pakistan caused massive damage to infrastructure and livelihoods. Students from flood-hit districts risk dropping out due to financial constraints. USAID’s Merit and Needs-Based Scholarship Program, aiding financially struggling students since 2004, steps in. It offers two-semester scholarships in thirty partner universities, alleviating flood-affected students’ financial burdens.

HEC Flood Scholarship 2024 USAID MNBSP

The scholarship allocation is solely merit-based. However, HEC retains the authority to revoke the scholarship if the applicant’s details are deceptive during physical verification. Programs like self-sustain, self-support, self-finance, evening classes with elevated fees, and two-year bachelor’s, associate, and lateral degree courses are disqualified. Those concurrently benefiting from other scholarships or grants are also ineligible. The scholarship extends for two semesters exclusively.

USAID MNBSP Eligibility Criteria

• Enrolled in the 2nd to 7th semester in Fall 2024 of a four/five-year undergraduate program.
• All disciplines accepted.
• Belong to flood-affected districts/sub-districts/UC Tehsils designated by the Government of Pakistan/PDMA/District Administration.
• Valid evidence of flood-related damage, excluding internet-sourced images.
• Shortlisted candidates interviewed by the University’s Scholarship Award Committee.
• 50% of scholarships are exclusively for females.
