Punjab Workers Welfare Board Scholarship 2024
FA/FSc/ICS/I.com Diploma Students will get a Rs 3500/- monthly stipend. Students of BS/BA/BSc/ADP, MA/MSc, and Bachelor level will obtain a monthly Rs 4500/- stipend. Further students of post-graduation of all disciplines will receive a Rs 5500 monthly stipend.
Eligibility Criteria for Workers and Miners
- Worker/Mineworker eligibility: Covered under Punjab IRA 2010, registered with EOBI or Social Security, and 3 years of service (no service limit for Intermediate level education).
- Registration requirement: Worker/Mineworker must register with EOBI or PESSI.
- Non-registered Worker: Submit attested Affidavit, two Guarantors (employer and CBA President/General Secretary) if not registered.
- Worker/Mineworker employment criteria: Employees of an Industrial/Mine/Establishment must be registered under relevant laws or contribute to the Workers Welfare Fund.
- Scholarship eligibility: Children of deceased Workers/Mineworkers are eligible if Widow/Legal Heirs received a Death Grant.
- Disability Scholarships: Available for children of disabled Workers/Mineworkers with proof from a Legal Medical Board.
PWWB Scholarship 2024 Last Date to Apply
No registered workers and employees’ children will have to attach a duly filled affidavit with the application form. The Notary Institute will attest to the affidavit of none non-registered workers. The concerned department will accept only prescribed application forms for scholarships. PWWB offers scholarship application forms online. Usually, it announces scholarship opportunities in June.
