Eligibility

Have passed the MDCAT examination for admission to MBBS at 55% and BDS at 50%; Obtained a Higher Secondary School Certificate qualification (“HSSC”) or an equivalent 12th-grade qualification recognized in Pakistan and having obtained minimum sixty percent marks therein; or a higher percentage as may be notified by the PMDC; and Passed the subjects of Biology and Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics in the examination of the Higher Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent 12th-grade qualification recognized in Pakistan.

Pakistani Students

A student, who is a Pakistani National and has completed F.Sc./HSSC or equivalent in Pakistan, All other candidates who do not fall under this definition shall be treated as foreign students (having foreign nationality) for definition.

Foreign Students

A student, who is not a Pakistani student and only holds foreign/dual nationality or overseas (being a Pakistani citizen permanently resident in a foreign country) Pakistani, and who studied and passed the HSSC 12th grade examination or equivalent from outside Pakistan and is a resident of a foreign country at the time of applying for admission and possess a certificate from the institution last attended to this effect.
