Sohni Dharti Remittance Program 2024 is a point-based loyalty program for overseas Pakistanis. Pakistan Ministry of Overseas & Employment Pakistan has launched the Sohni Dharti Remittance Program 2024. Its main purpose is to encourage overseas Pakistanis to send more money to homes. Overseas Pakistanis Foundation has launched a smartphone application for the Sohni Dharti Remittance Program 2024. Overseas Pakistanis can participate and increase redeemed points by sending money through SBP-regulated channels. Citizens of Pakistan who live abroad and send money to their loved ones and homes through banking and exchange companies channels. They can install this app and use it to avail of multiple services free of cost.

Sohni Dharti Remittance Program Registration
Pakistan State Bank has started Sohni Dharti Program overseas. Overseas Pakistanis can earn reward points on every remittance you send. State Bank has three categories of remittance points as follows.

Your earned reward points will be shown in the Sohni Dharti Program app. Govt can revise the rate and value of remittance on a category basis. Mainly Sohni Dharti program encourages to none resident Pakistanis to use formal/legal remittance channels to send money to their homes. Overseas Pakistanis who have their bank accounts in Pakistan can register in SDRP.
Sohni Dharti Remittance Program 2024 Application Form
SDRP is effective since last year in Pakistan. Rewards and remittance points will be offered to overseas Pakistan at each transaction. That reward and redeems will be useful for one fiscal year of Pakistan from July to 30th June. UBL, Sonari Bank, HBL, Bank All Habib Limited, State Bank of Pakistan, Overseas cooperation, and Meezan Bank are also offering Sohni Dharti Remittance Program.
Q1: What is Sohni SDRP?
Sohni Dharti Remittance Program is an initiative of the Government of Pakistan to incentivize Overseas Pakistanis who send remittances in their RDA account for transactions. The eligible transactions for this program include:
Local utilization of funds (non-repatriable) in Pakistan by Roshan Digital Account holders (It is further explained below).
Q.2: Why should I join SDRP?
You will be eligible to receive reward points on every remittance transaction you send to Pakistan. We will award these points based on the assigned criteria, and you can access exclusive services at participating Public Sector Entities (PSEs) through the in-App redemption process.
Q3: Who can register for SDRP?
UBL Roshan Digital Account holders can register on SDRP to register, accumulate, and redeem reward points. This program is effective from October 1, 2021. Reward points will be awarded and accumulated for transactions during a financial year starting from July 1st to June 30th. However, in the first fiscal year, 2021-2023, we will award points for the period from October 1, 2021, to June 30, 2024.
Q4: How can I register for the SDRP?
Simply download the Sohni Dharti Remittance Mobile App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Input a few registration details, including your active mobile number, and set a password and your registration request will be processed.

Q5: How can I register my beneficiary?
As a Remitter, you can register a Beneficiary against his/her valid CNIC number by using the Mobile App. The beneficiary will receive a registration code along with the App download link on SMS on the provided mobile number, using which he/she can enroll as a Beneficiary. The registration code is valid for 03 days, after which the request will expire, and you will have to re-add the beneficiary.
Q6: Can I claim the reward for my remittances sent to the Roshan Digital Account?
The remittances received in the RDA account (PKR and FCY) will be eligible for reward points once the amount is consumed for expenses i.e. the RDA holder spends the amount to meet certain expenses. For example, a UBL RDA holder who pays the education fees of his/her dependents in Pakistan pays rent for residence, top-up mobile phone, medical or insurance expenses, or any similar expenses, and will become eligible for reward points. Further, reward points may be earned on the funds spent for Roshan Apni Car or Roshan Samaaji Khidmat. However, the unspent balance in the PKR or FCY account and the amount invested in property, stocks, NPCs NPCs, etc. is repatriable and will not be eligible for rewards under SDRP.
Q7: I have a joint RDA with a resident of Pakistan, can I earn the reward points on my joint RDA?
Yes, joint RDA holders will be eligible for reward points if they utilize remittances received in RDA (PKR and FCY) for the expenses stated above.
