History
The Government Sadiq College Women University (GSCWU) Bahawalpur, founded in 1944, initially as an intermediate college for women by Nawab Sir Sadiq Khan Abbasi V, evolved into a prestigious institution offering Masters Programs by 2010. Recognized for its commitment to enriching the academic and professional lives of female students, staff, and faculty, GSCWU aims to uphold high standards of teaching and research. In 2013, it was officially designated as a university through the Government Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur Act.
